A review of Caledonian Travel by Very disappointed written on Wednesday 22nd of June 2011
Have just returned from this trip. The hotel (Yorkshire Hotel) was only 3 star and the room we had was just okay. The food was certainly not "luxury". We had to choose from a very limted menu, eat at 6.30pm and sit in a certain area as directed by an assistant manager and advised this was where we should sit for the duration of our stay.
The choice of main course for Sunday evening was vegetable lasagne, cumberland sausage and Yorkshire coley (white fish wrapped in bacon and served with lumps of white cauliflower and carrots.) where o where was the roast beef and yorkshire pudding??????? .
