A review of Angelique Lamont by Michelle Skene written on Monday 25th of July 2011
I agree entirely with Leigh-Ann's statement and would like to say I'm so pleased that she had a lovely experience!!
I came across this shop by accident whilst browsing online and am so glad I did!!! My sister and I popped in last Friday (22nd July 2011) to investigate potential bridesmaid dresses. I fully expected to be asked to wait or worse sent away, but we were met by Kate. I was SOOOO nervous, scared in fact of the idea of putting on a wedding dress, which was why I had decided to hunt down a bridesmaid dress first. I felt enormous and my confidence is low about myself. Kate found out that I didn't have a dress for myself yet and before I knew it she took me by the arm mid conversation and I found myself in a changing room excited about trying on my first dress!!! She relaxed me so much that after dress number 2 I was desperate to try others on! The first dress Kate picked for me seems to be the one I keep thinking about but I'll go back again and try other styles soon. Kate was honest about different cuts on me, but never made me feel horrid, in fact she seemed more excited than my sister every time I tried something new on!
I would definitely recommend this shop to any girl, especially those with low self esteem - it's true what they say, every bride should feel like a princess on her wedding day!!! .
