A review of Carbeth Inn by Ian M written on Wednesday 27th of July 2011
I don't know which pub the previous reviewer went to, but it sure doesn't sound like the Carbeth.
I can only surmise it is a disgruntled employee or somesuch as I go to the Carbeth regularly and you'd be hard pressed to find a more welcoming and friendly pub.
There are loads of pubs you can go into as a newbie and you're left sitting in the corner and ignored, but not so at the Carbeth. I defy anyone to visit and not get dragged into the conversations going on in the place.
The new management have improved the food considerably and music and the quiz night on a sunday are always good for a laugh.
It is popular with bikers and those out for a run in the country, so its perfect for families..
