A review of The Polo Lounge by Shaun written on Friday 29th of July 2011
The review here really is far too harsh on Polo. I myself have always found it a fun place to go and rather like its layout of a chill out floor and the main club underground.
The staff always seems to get had reviews on sites like this yet I would say that 80% of them are friendly and manage the bar rather well considering how busy it gets.
The new room just opened ClubX is a much needed breath of fresh air and creates a fun atmosphere.
Obviously it can’t compete against London, but neither than many clubs in the UK gay or straight. The drink yes are watered down but at £1 a drink and free entry you can’t really complain that much.
Don’t expect big glossy London clubs, but why would you? You’re in Glasgow :)
