A review of Harry Ramsdens by Party For 10 written on Monday 2nd of July 2007
A short visit to Harry Ramsdens, Glasgow was all it took.
A party of 10 and the (what seemed like under-aged staff) - couldn't cope! We were literally the only people in the restaurant at the time.
No ice, no white wine, no burgers dispite all being 'available' on the menu... and the staff were unbelievable! When the food finally decided to show face at the table... it was cold! Absoulute no urgency in anything we asked the staff either! The price was well over the limit for what we got - and all I can say is that the whole 10 of us were disgusted from the minute we arrived to the point when they booked us a taxi out (which they couldn't even do right!).
Normally we wouldn't bother complaining - just grin and learn... but this experience on Monday, 2nd July 07 was over the top! Harry Ramsden's - 'those who love food, love Harry Ramsdens'... well our impression of the place is cold food & warm drinks - with terrible staff! 'Never Ever Again!'.
