A review of Lauders Bar by Joan mcginnity written on Sunday 16th of October 2011
Lauders bar entice you in with lovely pictures of the food on offer and price deals of 2 meals for £5.50 just to get you in the door. Once seated we placed our order and waited in anticipation of the food we were about to get, looking forward to it we were utterly disappointed when it came. The chips on all four plates were the worst chips I have ever tasted in my life and I have tried farmfoods chips which were far superior to what we got in Lauders. The fish that my step daughter ordered looked in very much of a feed to fatten it out, an anorexic fish was not very appetising. The steak pie the rest of us oreder was look warm and looked much better in the picture. I wish we could have eaten the photo instead. I for one will not be eating in here again and as much as the staff were nice they were far too over friendly. Ordering food and hearing the lass call my husband darling and sweetie are not what I want to hear when my kids are having a family meal with us. I won't recommend Lauders to any of my friends!.
