A review of R L Allan & Son by Billy Martin written on Monday 24th of October 2011
I have owned a R.L. Allan & Son Oxford Longprimer for several years now. I can't overstate the absolute quality of the binding. The Bible feels like smooth, warm butter in your hands. It felt like it might run through my fingers like liquid. After several years of use it has remained perfectly bound. No pages are loose and the the "block" of pages are still firmly attached to the cover. I simply can't say in words what you must feel to understand. I have never held any book that felt like this Bible..
