A review of Allied International Credit by Anonymous CAG Member written on Saturday 5th of November 2011
"I agree that there are many reasons why somebody may default on a loan/credit card agreement, and sometimes this means that people who want to pay simply can't pay." - I think I know where this is going.
"However it seems to me that people need to be abit more accountable!" - Yep, I was right.
"Nobody likes to be told they owe money bottom line, but this sometimes must put the blinkers on for people and they can't see past the fact that they are dealing with a DCA!" - AIC are a DCA.
"Telling people not to pay for 6 years so it is statute barred is not a solution!" - It is if 6 years have passed. Besides, who's telling people not to pay for 6 years?
"if people really are struggling to pay thier obligations they should contact a financial institution such as payplan or CCCS Who will give free advice and will deal with your creditors for you." - Or you could go onto online forums, be told why payplan and CCCS isn't always such a good idea, and deal with the matter properly.
"As for slagging off the people who work for DCA's they are doing their jobs (somebodies got too) and don't deserve to be called names for simply asking somebody their intentions towards paying their debt!" - In AIC's case, they definitely deserve to be called names, as many who've been contacted by them will attest. Besides, there isn't always a 'debt' involved - there is such a thing as a scattergun approach, in respect to people with the same name in the same town..
