A review of The Nia Roo by Boogie Bitch written on Thursday 5th of July 2007
Well all I have to say in regards to the Nia Roo is that it is a great nite out! Most of the comments here have slated our little watering hole, but seriously get a life. If you don't like it, then don't go! The Nia is a good laugh over the weekend. I couldn't comment about the weekdays, as I dont really go then. The karaoke host from Fraser Entertainments keeps the place going with her cheery banter, and her general welcoming nature. Any trouble that does kick off (which is very rare) is quickly calmed down by the bar staff, and sometimes by fellow drinkers also. No-one wants a ruined night by a few immature pricks deciding to have a drunken fight, then be best budz 2 minutes later.
So seriously people, give the Nia Roo a break, and see it for what it actually is - a local pub, with lively entertainment that caters for most ages from pool tournaments to quiz nights to karaoke, varied drinks menu, and reasonable prices..
