A review of Ruchazie Primary School by Etta kearney written on Friday 10th of February 2012
Hi my name is Henrietta Kearney nee Loudon i also went to ruchazie primary school, i lived in croftcroighn road till i was about 9 and then we moved to Elibank street, i have fond memories of the school, the teacher i remember best was Mr Scott, what a lovely man, i remember after being in hospital he sent another child round to my house with a bunch of grapes, and at christmas all the kids in the class had a cowans toffee selection box from him in their desk. When i started my first teacher was Miss Burns and i also remember Mrs Woods she was very strict and had long fingernails which she use to poke into children at the blackboard who got the long division on the board wrong oh happy days..... Etta Kearney.
