A review of Bradfords Bakers by Breadlover written on Monday 19th of March 2012
I have been a customer of Bradford's Merrylee for many years but feel I may soon take my custom elsewhere. I still enjoy the particular bread I purchase there but am becoming more and more disgusted by the condition of the shop front.
The decor is circa 1975: not merely dated, but looking as tired and as dirty as if it had last received attention in that year. As I wait for my bread I gaze upon filthy walls, cracked tiles, peeling paint.....
My confidence in the establishment's standards of hygiene behind the scenes is not inspired by this woeful lack of attention in the front. I am perplexed that the shop has passed hygiene inspections over the years.
The management of "world famous" Bradford's appear to show complete contempt for me and their other customers. if I do not see some attempt to clean up their shop in the very near future I shall be voting with my feet..
