A review of Cafe Noor by STEVEN AND JUNE written on Monday 9th of April 2012
THE OLDER I GET I THINK BACK WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND TASTED MY FIRST CURRY AND IMEDIATELY FELL IN LOVE WITH INDIAN QUISINE. LAST NIGHT I WENT BACK IN TIME WHEN I WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR'S OF THE CAFE NOOR ON KILMARNOCK ROAD SHAWLANDS. ENTERING THE RESTRUANT YOU ARE MET BY STAFF MEMBERS WHO ARE ACTUALLY PLEASED TO SEE YOU AND GREET YOU AS SUCH.THE DECOR IS WARM AND NOT OVER POWERING.THE MENU IS PLENTYFUL AND WELL EXPLAINED.WHEN YOU EAT HERE YOU BETTER BE PREPARED FOR AUTHENTIC INDIAN STYLE MEALS.YOU WONT FIND ANY ARTIFICIAL COLOURS OR PRESERVES IN ANY OF THEIR DISHES.THE HELPINGS ARE ALSO HUGE SO DONT BE SHY AND ASK FOR A DOGGY BAG.LAST AND BY NO MEANS LEAST IM SO SORRY I DIDNT ASK FOR THE NAME OF THE MANAGER,HE WAS SO POLITE AND WELCOMING AND WAS ON HAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY ASK.TRY THIS LITTLE GEM ,IT WILL BE WORTH IT. .
