A review of Rock Mount Nursery by D. Woods written on Tuesday 5th of June 2012
My 2 year old joined this nursery after finding it difficult to settle in another nursery. I chose this nursery due to the fact that it doesn't hold a lot of children. They staff gave him a lot of one to one time and had taken the time to find out his interests to help him settle. I was made to feel at ease by the management team and told to call as many times as I liked (which I did). He is now happy and keen to go to nursery in the morning. The staff were wonderful and seemed to hold a lot of knowledge on the educational side of things.
The nursery is set in a park and has floor to ceiling windows so a lot of light. My child is outdoors frequently and enjoys trips.
The food seems to go down a treat with my child and he eats things at nursery that he doesn't eat at home such as chillie and rice. The menu is set up for 4 weeks which means I can plan his meals.
Information on his day is given in a sheet and the staff all tell me about the little things you want to know as a parent when I pick him up.
I would reccommend this nursery to all. The nursery only takes a small number of children in and I think this is the reason that the staff get to know my child so well..
