A review of The Lunch Box by Rod Aries written on Friday 27th of July 2012
I couldn't put my finger on it until I left the place, something was wrong. The place is clean, has a varied menu, nice staff who are attentive.
The place is completely white and hence featureless.looking at nearby busy venues, this is part of their success, but Lunchbox is primarily a takeaway.
Silence......not even a low volume set of mp3 tracks or uplifting beats playing.
Give the walls some character, make it more inviting.
Change the chips, they are not very good. Getting chips right is a basic requirement.
Just a few steps needed which might have a big impact.
