A review of Morton's Rolls Ltd by Anonymous written on Thursday 6th of September 2012
I agree, Morton's rolls just aren't the same recently. Over the last few months my household has noticed the texture and taste of the roll has completely changed. It now tastes like every other mediocre supermarket roll out there.
Prior to this change they had a crispy outer shell with hardly any dough inside, what dough there was had a nice chewey texture. Now they are limp and taste stale as if they have been left out overnight. Very strange as up 'til now they hadn't changed for decades. They were once unbeatable but now my whole extended family don't buy them anymore..
