A review of Lauders Bar by Alan Robinson written on Friday 28th of September 2012
My first visit was about three decades ago, en-route to Sullom Voe, Sauchiehall street was still open to traffic. The next visit was about two decades ago, with a squad of buddies from the Sinai, Boffs wedding weekend. Jinty & self where there about five years ago when I picked up a new computer. My parents, Davey (Jintys Dad), Jinty & self where there again last Monday afternoon, same opinion, excellent food, great service, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Two thumbs up. There was another visit, a couple of years ago, with Jintys parents & Uncle, unable to find a seat though, it seems that Sunday afternoon is the busiest. Lauders reminds me of "The Wild Geese" in MFO South Camp, not much to look at on the outside, full of ambience & warmth inside. When I think of a proper pub, this is it..
