A review of Provanhall Primary School by Lorraine McBride written on Saturday 27th of October 2012
On the upside I always managed to find the time to have a wee play in the Venchie playground. I remember a man called John Church who was one of the organizers. Most of my childhood injurys happened in there. I remember the Quinns, Raffertys,The Lyndsays,Clarks,June Duncan,
to name a few. Wee Lived there for 11yrs, Moved away in 1978. I have gone back for a stroll down memory lane. My husband and I took a walk along the backs and walked to the Hosp. I think they are planing on building on my stomping ground... Left me feeling sad that the kids that will be growing up there wont have the freedom that wee all had. I remember having to help the farmer round up the cows when they would come strolling down our Street causing quite a stir lol I will always have found memories of the years I spent there Lorraine.
