A review of Bairds Bar by Jon valenti written on Saturday 5th of January 2013
When I lived in the Garngad I used tae bevy doon the Calton and I always had a swally at Bairds.
OK it's a Tims pub and the regulars are down to earth and at times it can get a wee bit dodgy but's that no Thomas and the staffs fault.
People come from aw ower Glesga and Scotland and Ulster and Ireland to pay tribute to the HISTORY of the Celtic and Bairds bar is a testament to that club.
As a man said,"It's no a wine bar in Byres Road,"but as usual the Craft and the Police and the Parvenus of the Law decided that somehow the owner and staff should be held accountable for the miscreants and general ne'er do wells who cause a wee bit ay friction.
Your safe in the place as long as ye mind yer business and don't get wide and keep to the matter at hand and that is being in THE Celtic Bar par excellence in Glasgows Gallowgate.
