"Student teacher"

Hi trying to trace a john sharkey who is listed as a sudent teacher in the 1860s census and in a later census he listed as aclerk at what seems to be st vincents school for the blind (a bit blurred) but as he lived in the parkhead area seems possable any place where i could check staff records any help appreciated regards bob
