A review of Sa Marina by Donald McInnes written on Sunday 5th of August 2007
Visited Sa Marina with my family on 4 August 2007 to celebrate my son's 17th birthday, my mother in laws 75th birthday and the fact that my brother in law was returning to Australia after a six week visit to Scotland.
Parking was not a problem , in fact there was even spaces outside on the main road, not to mention the side roads which had ample parking.
The food was exceptional, the staff extremely helpful and the atmosphere superb.
I had not been to this particular restaurant under it's current name but was pleasantly surprised by the decor and the attentiveness of the staff, to the effect that they even dimmed the lights and brought out a birthday cake for us all to celebrate the occasion.
Some of the items on the menu were not available due to the fact that they had had a rush at lunchtime, nevertheless the alternatives were just as good.
All in all a very very fine restaurant, value for money, yes, pleasant surroundings, yes, friendly staff, yes.
An intimate restaurant, small but exceptional, many thanks..
