A review of Ann's Fry by Rocky R written on Monday 18th of March 2013
It used to be one of life's pleasures splitting a fish supper from here with a friend. However, over 6 months ago, the fish supper I got from here had what I could only describe as one and a half pieces of fish. I have to admit I saw it happening and my heart sank when the tongs took the smallest piece and it was unapologetically included in the supper. I avoided going back but we were caught short for something to eat yesterday and decided to give it another try. It was the same story, one reasonable piece of fish and a wee half size bit for the full £5.70 (they do a one piece supper for £4). Very poor value for a greasy take-away supper and I definitely won't be back now. .
