A review of Caledonian Travel by Regular coach tourer written on Monday 12th of August 2013
Arrived home on Aug 11th from Belfast & The Titanic Experience.Friday & Saturday were excellent. Our problem was with the itinery on Sunday. We had breakfast then had to vacate our room & bring luggage to the coach at 11am.(departure was not until 2pm for 3:30pm ferry crossing)This would not have been so bad if we had known in advance that it is law in Northern Ireland that shops cannot open before 1pm on a Sunday We had taken the independent bus tour of the city on Saturday,so that was not an option.I would like Caledonian to take a look at earlier 11:30am ferry departure instead of us all hanging around the hotel. This would have meant,in our case, arriving home at 6:30pm instead of 10:30pm.Another suggestion would be to reverse the days & go to the Titanic on Sunday(there is lots of time for this)That would allow all Saturday free for shopping or other excursions that are offered in and around Belfast,a trip to The Giants Causeway is one we could have taken..
