A review of The Vinyl Frontier by Billy, Glasgow written on Wednesday 27th of November 2013
I have visited James at the vinyl frontier on many occasions, and have always come away with something - even if he didn't have what I was looking for in stock, he could order it for me or check with his network of fellow traders/collectors. Although it was a small unit in an indoor market, there was always something of interest - rare and collectable vinyl, autographs and the like as well as the run-of-the-mill chart stuff. I found his prices to be more than reasonable, as is his knowledge or music and film. Prices were way better than buying on the high-street and were even competitive with online retailers at the time. I've since heard that the store is no longer there, although I met him recently and he told me that he had a website at thevinyl-frontier.co.uk. .
