"No point in prebooking a taxi"

Prebooked a taxi with this company a couple of days before New Year to ensure a taxi home. Got confirmation.

Phoned on the New Years Eve to double check with booking. Got confirmation.

Left the venue 10 minutes before closing time, waited 20 minutes before phoning the company. Was on hold for 15 minutes before being told to "wait another half hour".

I tried to explain that it had been prebooked. I was told in an angry voice "it's prebooked? it's new years eve, half an hour" before slamming the phone down.

Ridiculous attitude, why offer a prebooking system if you're not going to honor it?!

Received callback 40 minutes later after returning home.

Won't be using them again..
