Remember the teachers: mr macdonald, latin, nicknamed 'tosh', lovely man, never raised his voice, patient beyond belief . mr quail, gentle giant at PE as was Mr Blue and another PE teacher nicknamed 'Hank'. English teachers: 'Bunny' O'Donnell, because of prominent teeth . mr fitzpatrick, mr finnegan, miss clark and a Mr McGloin (briery). In Math 'Buster' Keating, 'Wee' McNab, . in French, Miss Bird, a holy terror, 'Big Pete' Martin, 'Fifi' Graham. Neil McCarry in History, 'Paddy' Costello in Geography . a Mr Primrose in Science . all of them memorable, and sixty years later I still call them 'Mr'
