A review of Iona Community by Lolly written on Thursday 11th of September 2014
I went to Iona with my mum, my aunty, my wee sister and my big brother. I had the best time ever! We went to the beach and had a scavenger hunt and i won! There was lots to do like arts and crafts and sports and playing games. The workers at Iona took us on a boat to another island called Staffa and we seen Puffins there! It was a wee bit cold and there were lots of rocks to climb and i loved it! The workers didn't act like workers they acted like my friend and i made lots of new friends there, some of them were kids and some of them were old but they were not moany or annoying. Visiting staffa was my favourite bit of our holiday and being sick on the bus going there was the only bad part of going. I didn't get sick on the bus journey home because i was happy that i had a brilliant time but sad that i had to leave. I cried when i had to say goodbye to everyone. I hope that we can go back to Iona next year. My best friend is going to turkey next year and my cousins are going to Florida but i wouldn't want to go to those holidays i just want to go back to Iona.
