My name's Patrick Mc Glynn .
I was born in The Gorbals in 62 but we moved to Prince Edward Street in 63-64 . I would love to hear from anyone who might remember me . I had a great wee friend called Mc Fadden ?
Were two girls called Laura ( surnames Sala and Girino ? )
We moved to Ireland in 1970 and it took me years ta accept I wasnt going back
I remember First Communion and going for a meal which included sausage rolls
I remember free milk , second
helpings of ice cream and jelly and how I hated the beetroot juices running into the mash
And robbers shooting dead a policeman
And collecting bottles for return
Boating in Queen's Park
The chipper on Victoria Road - divine
The shop with the parrot.
