"Never assume"

Was in Morgans on Friday 21st November. My wife fancied a new leather jacket and as she had purchased from Morgans before, it was the first port of call on our

weekend away in Glasgow.What an experience.Mr Morgan pounced on us as soon as we entered. Wasn't interested in letting us peruse the products on offer. Instead this overbearing little man, insisted my wife should listen to him as, he hasn't been trading from his Howard Street shop for 15 years, for no reason at all. Listen to me he would say, try this, try that.

When my wife spotted something she liked, there was no price tag, so she asked Mr Morgan, how much is this.£790.00 was his reply.

Our reply was, a bit steep, think we'll just leave it for now.

Well, you could have knocked me down with a feather at this condescending little mans response.Maybe you should stick to your budget then and go look somewhere else.Never assume that potential customers can't afford your merchandise. It was more a case of, we didn't think it was value for money. The only leathers that were good value, were the biker jackets. Most of the others, especially the gents jackets were poor quality.Needless to say we won't be back.

Word of advice Mr Morgan.Leave the sales side of things to your female assistant..
