A review of Blackfriars by Si written on Monday 3rd of September 2007
Having lived in merchant city for 7 I can heartily recommend this wee gem of a pub
Great music (typically 1950s R&B / soul) makes a welcome refuge from the soft rock pap that's often the choice of less enlightened pubs.
Great choice of spirits, from a fine colection of bourbons and tequilas (if you too thought you hated tequila, try the 1800...) to a classic colection of malts
Love this pub.
