Just back from this excellent trip, driver Pete from National Holidays was brilliant, very polite and re-assuring to older members of our party about our journey down from the mountains every day to the markets In minus 5 degrees conditions.could not do enough for his passengers. Only downfall was the hotel we had been transferred to in Hahnenklee, the food was virtually non-existant at night, as another 2 coach parties were there at the same time, their dinner time was 7pm as against our 7.30pm, so when we arrived there was practically no food available, as some of them had been taking 2nd servings. Having been out since early morning it would have been nice to arrive to a plate of hot soup, but the soup dish was empty, when I asked the chef about this I was totally ignored, he obviously new what I was saying as he took the ladle away and placed an empty soup plate on top and disappeared into the kitchen, bar was a rip off, 2 rounds of drinks was 87 Euros, but in the Kranichsee hotel a few doors along, same bill was 41euros 10cents.
