A review of Garnetbank Primary School by VALERIE DANCE nee BATE written on Wednesday 11th of February 2015
Attended Garnetbank school early 1960's. Parents split up when I was eleven. So many memories over a short time. Marching to music in the morning. Mr Findlay who was very strict but was respected. I remember walking up the hill every morning with my brother from West Nile Street were we lived. I am sure there was a dental training school that we passed on the way. Have lived in Lancashire from the age of eleven but often think of my days at the school..
