A review of City Facilities Management (UK) Ltd by Rara Janey written on Thursday 26th of March 2015
I've been a so-called Asda Ace since August 2014 and it's been the most dire job I have ever had the misfortune to have. There is absolutely no teamwork whatsoever and the sorry excuse for management doesn't give a toss about any issues that arise from backstabbing and gossip. Our manager left a couple of weeks ago which left the supposed supervisor in charge, but the situation has gone from bad to worse. Our Asda is a supers tore and last Sunday there were 3 of us to clean the place. How is that good management practice? Today my work was criticised in front of customers and I'm expected to be gracious about this? Really? Not to mention I'm expected to get down on my knees to clean the inside of the till cabin -at the back - for £6.52. Needless to say I do not. We are there to maintain cleanliness of the store for customers not as personal servants for the staff. Who sees inside the till cabin and why does it matter how clean it is? This is a ridiculous set of protocols with an even more ludicrous timescale, enforced by people who have absolutely no idea how long it takes to actually clean. I would hate to pay a visit to their houses. Then again they probably have some poor soul as a housekeeper..
