A review of Thornwood Post Office by Anonymous written on Tuesday 7th of April 2015
I usually use Partick post office, but recently started using this one as I now live closer, but I won't be anymore. It is fine if you just need to use it occasionally, but I regularly send things for my business, and I am sick of this place. Yes, it's often quiet and no need to queue, but I'd rather face the long queues and more knowledgeable and friendly staff down at the Partick post office instead. Female staff here just seem slow, verging on lazy, usually too busy sipping their tea to listen to customers. A simple request for a receipt is often ignored. One member of male staff just seems to have a very condescending attitude to me, and again, does not really listen to any questions or requests properly, insisting he knows best without even listening to what was actually said. Sorry! I'd rather support my small local post office than trek further afield to a larger branch, but I'm afraid that's what I'll be doing from now on!.
