A review of Glasgow Royal Infirmary by James d smith written on Friday 10th of April 2015
I had on Friday 27th mar 2015 an operation on my left foot, "plantar fibromatosis" I was let out the same day at 6pm. the treatment was appalling, first I was asked by a physiotherapist to walk with the aid of 2 arm cruches for 10yds, the blood poured out the wound on to the bedclothes only for a nurse to put a mat over that area. still the wound leaked, on examination by the surgeon mr kumar a nurse was asked to put another bandage on top of the blood stained one. on leaving the ward I had to walk 30yds to get into the lift, down 2 stairs and 30yds to the exit, I was told that I had left a trail of blood on the floor. no chair, no assistance from anyone concerned..
