"Good Reputation? Bad Experience...."

We visited Canasta a few weeks ago after friends had told us it was good. We have recently moved from nearer town to Cathcart and as we eat out a lot, were looking for good restaurants in the area. What a disappointement! I agree with the last reviewer, the staff were rude. I ordered cheese to have with my husband's sweet, and when I cancelled it because it took so long, the waitress, instead of apoligising, shouted to the chef "she want's to cancel the cheese cause it's taking so long" The whole restaurant heard... a course on customer care would be money well spent! The food was okay, but not good enough to put up with the staff, we wont be back, and neither will our friends..
