A review of Scrimshaws & Co by Unhappy customer. written on Tuesday 28th of July 2015
I booked an appointment through a well-known discount site.
The day after I got a phone call from a young girl who didn't seem to quite know what was going on. she told me that there was no one to do my hair at the time I booked. She seemed surprised when I asked what other times they had - and even more surprised when I explained I could not come in 9-5 weekdays due to work. eventually after some humming and hawing she offered me a 9:30 on Saturday morning. I asked if they had anything later - to which she begrudgingly offered a 10:30. I accepted but advised I was unhappy at the bait and switch. she put the phone down and suddenly there was a very argumentative man on the phone, I can only assume this was her manager. he asked what the problem was and when I tried to explain, he cut me off and spoke over me. I waited until he was finished and asked if I could explain why I was upset. He told me to go somewhere else as he refused to cut my hair and hung up.
Myself and the 3rd party website customer service were shocked. I was able to get a refund and go elsewhere, but I would very much suggest not using this hairdresser. If the man who spoke to me Was the hairdresser, he is highly unprofessional and needs to learn about customer service. I understand I booked a discounted service - that doesn't mean I booked a rude one..
