I was Christened at The Foundry Boy's Church.1942. My Aunt Jessie Cruickshank and Aunt Joan Cruickshank were the ones who took me on a regular basis. My name is Irene McMurray (nee)McCartney. We lived at 35 Tharsis Street and moved away 1952. I have great memories of my time spent at the church being involved in the children's programmes and the flannel-graph Sunday School lessons were the foundation to my faith in Christ. I would love to hear from anyone who can let me know about the church at this present time. Back in 1990 my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Munro and for a short while I was in contact with Martha King..
