I've been a good customer for many many years at the Chalfont St Peter branch and spent an enormous amount of money over the years and had a good relationship with the managers.

I arrived late at the shop two weeks ago, the staff were clearly itching to close up so I gathered up the clothes I liked and rather than try them on said I would do it at home and bring what I didn't like back the following day - they seemed happy with that as I had spent over £200. That was my first mistake I should have made them wait until I had tried everything on. When I decided what to take back the following day I could not find my receipt so rang the store and said as I was the last customer to leave the previous day and knew they could easily trace my transaction on the till so would they be prepared to give me my money back on the items I did not want - NOoooooooooooooooooo was the answer absolutely not. COMPANY POLICY.

Long and short of this is the manager was in a meeting and basically too busy to speak to me "a loyal customer" - I was told that one item had ALREADY gone down in value so I lost £6 and to add insult to injury I was given a credit voucher for JUST ONE MONTH. As I work during the week to give me a voucher that I probably would not spend since in a month since I can't physically get to the shop and in any case they stock would not have changed I find quite deceitful and conniving. Yes they got my money this time, but I will never shop there again and I estimate I spend yearly about £1,000 if not more - maybe that means nothing to M&Co then I would say more fool you, you've lost a loyal customer because of the way you treated me, your total disinterest shown to me when I came to your shop and maybe, when eventually the shop closes and you lose your jobs you will remember those you turned away and those you were unhelpful and rude to..
