A review of Kember & Jones by Beat Attitude written on Tuesday 25th of September 2007
The vitriol of the previous comment surprised me. I found it to be a nice place, nicely lit, friendly staff, warm, nice food (it's a kind of deli bar, so good if you like things like olives, pate, interesting salads etc..). You can't book a table, but then they only seat about 14 people at any one time. The prices are OK, I thought, considering they're not feeding you the same heat-lamp restaurant fodder as other establishments on the same street. Going there for a snack or a meal is like a wee treat. Note, seating is only upstairs I think, so not great for disabled access..
