A great school great start in life. Lived in buccleuch street & walked up the hill & down the other side every school day. Great free school dinners too! Do remember assembly even singing cat Stevens morning has broken. Remember mrs mccloud p5 or 6 as I was poor she even knitted me a hat & scarf. Remember Mrs Nicholson head mistress think we called her knickers x did get the belt quite a few times but learn my lessons from my erring ways. Fond memories. Remember a lorry loosing control of his breaks and running down the hill into a shop in sauchihall street. Boys & girls were separated in the play ground. Toilet was outside but think as I was leaving they sorted toilets indoors. Remember lots of playground games, Chinese ropes, peaver etc great fun too..
