"I so loved my time at Knockburn from 1959 - 1966"

A review of Knockburn Primary School by Agnes Moore written on Sunday 9th of October 2016

I had such a happy childhood and so enjoyed my education at Knockburn. Miss McKnight was the head teacher. Over and above our normal teachings of Maths, English etc., I enjoyed Netball, Drama, Music. I remember Miss Pryde, Mrs. Mee and later her daughter Miss Mee were some of my teachers. It was a really happy school. Some of my friends were Joan Scott, Linda Watt, Janet McRae, Pauline Anderson. It was a great time in my life and I still have many happy memories.

I lived at 276 Wallacewell Road, Balornock.

My name at that time was Agnes Wallace..
