I remember my school days at willowbank . Some good and some bad memories . Not many Asians kids went to this school . My first teacher was Mrs Baxter very strict! , she must have been in her 40s. I remember Mr Stuart i think he was the head teacher not sure though . He was tall ,bald ,firm but fair Always carried the belt under his jacket.

School friends Nadeem Ansari, Allan Trotter, Pretty Bahanda, Billy Simpson Craig Stuart , he lived in the same close with me at Grant street . Roslyn Smith , all the boys fancied her . One girl i can only remember by first name was Helen. Willowbank school has now been demolished and will soon be flats and accommodation for students.
