"Knockburn teachers"

A review of Knockburn Primary School by Norman written on Thursday 19th of January 2017

I was at Knockburn from 1959 t0 1962 when I left to go to Colston Secondary.

I thought the Head's name was Mrs Knight !

I also remember Mr Duncan, Miss Elliot & Miss Macfarlan.

I was the one who rang the bell to end luchtime and get the pupils back to class.

I still have a class photo that was taken in the main hall.

In my class were Alistair Watson (always top of the class), Marjorie Patterson, Ronnie McPhee, Yvonne Hardy, Alan Shevlin, Elizabeth Cooper & Jeff McGinley etc.

As I lived in Geddes Rd it was no problem getting home for lunch.

I also remember taking The "Jannies'dug" for walks.
