A review of DPD by Alison Gifford written on Friday 24th of November 2017
I am at my desk at home, waiting in for a parcel.to be delivered. An email has just arrived saying 'unable to deliver my parcel - no-one at home'! and offering the possibility to make other arrangements.
To add insult to injury, there is a photograph attached showing the location of where a card was left -- through the letterbox on my front door.
There is a security entry with a buzzer on our close - someone has let the delivery driver inside - not me, I wasn't buzzed, despite my name clearly displayed on the door panel.
I have a doorbell on the door of my flat. it didn't ring.
Ny door is glass, no-one knocked.
I am neither deaf nor senile, my house is silent, I was working at my desk.
It is almost impossible to find a way to contact DPD. The phone numbers found online return only a recorded message.
I am absolutely furious!.
