I did an Early years and education course with them over the period of one year, I found it extremely difficult to begin with but with the help and support of staff and other "students" quickly got into the swing of things, I was given help and support all along the way and achieved my SVQ at the end on time. I had 2 young sons at the time and Obvs this put a little strain on things but my youngest was given a nursery placement in One Plus and my oldest offered after school pick up from a wonderful lady not far from his school and, he loved it, it was a lot of travelling around and you do need to dedicate yourself but once you have made that decision you will be supported in all ways with this. I couldn't actually praise them enough cos if it wasn't for them I would never have started my career in childcare which led me into primary school settings and nurseries all ran differently and u need to be able to learn the health and safety rules quickly but the curriculum for such an age group is, Fun, enlightening, eye opening and taught me a lot to do with my own 2 young sons, I would highly recommend One plus to any single parent first to find out what help can be offered, advice you may or may not lead and general support as a parent. Highly recommend them and thank then for what they did for what they did for me wholly ! Fhiona Millar.
