A review of Queens Park Bowling & Tennis Club by Dewar Flower written on Monday 15th of October 2007
With 3 excellent greens and a first class clubhouse this is one of the premier clubs in the Glasgow area, if not the whole of Scotland. It is non -sexist in that lady and gent bowlers have equal status, and there is also the opportunity to join as a social member only. New bowlers can receive expert tuition from our 3 qualified coaches, and there is never a problem with getting a rink almost any day of the playing season. During the non-playing season we have carpet bowls, quiz and bingo nights, cabarets and dances, line dancing classes etc., and the club also has two 3/4 size snooker tables. For more information please contact the secretary on 0141 423 0152, write or call in. You'll be made very welcome! Unfortunately, as at present, the club does not have its own website. .
