A review of Glasgow Royal Infirmary by Disgruntled written on Tuesday 24th of November 2020
My husband was treated here for pancreatic cancer.
During his stay sometimes there were no cups for hot drinks and no food available.
He was unwashed and not shaved and his bedding was damp with sweat and not changed. One day there were no blankets. Various members of staff of all levels were aggressive. Lifts were unreliable. Doctors not very open with us. My husband refused to return for treatment and was looked after in our local hospital which was much better. Altogether a really stressful experience for both of us with long standing after effects. A letter about the problems was ignored as I had not submitted it as a formal complaint..
