A review of Victoria Primary School by Robert Coleman written on Sunday 21st of February 2021
I remember Mrs Campbell, Mrs Howie and Mr Bain. Mr Bain taught us to paint using watercolours.
He used to build model yachts, he took a class every Saturday morning where we sailed the boats at Queens Park, Barshaw Park and Alexandra Park.
I remember Gilbert Higgins, Ian Carnohan as well. Two of my friends from King's Park Church went to Victoria Primary too, Margaret Atkins and Hugh MacKinnon. Posted 22.2.2021. My previous post was 21.2.2021.
I am 74 this March..
