A review of Cardonald Primary School by Bill Leitch written on Saturday 16th of December 2006
Hi there i first went to this school in 1948 aged 5
the building was made of timber and my teacher was a Mrs Maglashon,i think thats the spelling.
I went from there to the cardonald school in Paisly rd west then on to Govan high before starting my apprenticeship in 1959.
Left for Australia in 1962 and on my first visit back in 1978 found the old school taken down and replaced by the presnt school.Th old school went the entire length of Angus oval with the offices in the middle
Regards
Bill LEITCH.
