I had my first eye test yesterday. It was a wonderful experience. I was astonished to receive a call yesterday afternoon, telling me my glasses were ready to collect. I could hardly believe it. I'm no spring chicken, and have worn glasses for nearly 70 years, so I thought 'Caroline, I said to myself, you're dreaming again' I can still hardly believe this. On top of all that, I got spare glasses free. I just wish I had known about this wee gem a long time ago. If my spelling is rubbish it's because I can't see very well in the morning..
